healthy-foodsIf someone has a hypertension and then he/she should keep his heart healthy. I would like to give them tips like eating a healthier diet and exercising regularly. After reading so many healthy magazine, I came to know about which foods to avoid and which are friends of the heart. And I would like to share my knowledge with you:

Healthy Foods for heart

1.Fruits and vegetables can help lower blood pressure and reduce risk of heart disease as well as stroke
2.Garlic contains allicin that helps in maintaining healthy cholesterol levels
3.Tomatoes contain lycopene, which may help in maintaining a healthy heart
4.Home-made fruit smoothies  using skimmed or semi-skimmed milk. The antioxidants, vitamins and fibre in fruit can help protect your heart

Don’t include in your Diet

1.Don’t consume too much salt because it can increase the risk of high blood pressure
2.Check regularly on your alcohol intake, also
3.Avoid foods high in saturated fats, which raise blood cholesterol
